The reading

Today started like any other day until my Wi-Fi suddenly stopped working. I needed it badly because I had a big online meeting at 10 a.m. I tried restarting the router, but nothing happened. I even called my friend Lisa, who is good with tech stuff, but she couldn't help over the phone.

Feeling desperate, I decided to visit the local electronics store. It was just a ten-minute walk from my house. The store manager, Mr. Johnson, was really helpful. He suggested buying a new router for $50, but I wasn't sure if that was the problem. Instead, he lent me a spare one to test at home.

When I got back, I quickly set up the borrowed router. To my relief, the internet worked again! I managed to join my meeting just in time. Later, I found out from Lisa that my old router had simply overheated. I'll definitely be more careful in the future and keep a fan nearby.
